A Gang system

Since now people in the server are making gangs/clans, I figure it is time to implement a gang system for this purpose. I have found a resource linked here. Also included are download links for the recent version

Unfortunately we don't put encrypted or compiled scripts in the server, once our scripter is back he will surely make one, i think this is a great idea..

I have ideas for features:

1. Protected nicks(Anyone who tries to use my nick for example gets kicked cause its protected)
   
2. A hierarchy( Ranks like recruit private etc) One good idea is to make rank names customizable( army = private general etc insurgents = cell leader warrior etc)
   
3. Have own bases and spawn points that ONLY have one entrance ( One good example is Area 51 base)
   
4. Ability to promote demote members, and kick people from groups.
   
5. If possible make groups within groups( example: Army: Alpha squad bravo squad) Also make these sub-groups customizable
   
6. Add specific boards for these groups under a groups us forum with group leaders as moderators
   

P.S I can decompile scripts. If you need any of them decompiled, feel free to shoot me a PM

I like your idea number three. but how come every body gets a base, shouldn't they apply first for it?

AGREED WITH OTHER IDEAS BUT..
every clan should have its own base? there are over 20-30 clans including russian , spanish etc. ...and people start new clans everyday and can recruit 5-6 people within 2 days.

Should we give all of them a base? o.O

Spawn points are already modified bubbles..wherever a player leaves server..will spawn there at next login. and every base will increase downloads coz of map changes..and we got 800 kb of maps already

how bout this? ..

we will make a base only for official clan in server. To have an official clan, head of clan will have to ask for majority vote in forum. if he gets enough vote, then his clan will be an official clan in sever. bad idea??

Not all of them, just the ones that have been selected by the community via a majority vote.

One good idea is to make spawn points for groups that already have bases.

It's a good idea. In fact, instead of people creating their own clans/ gangs, there should be 5 or less gangs/clans made by admins and admins'll select leaders.
If a player would make a clan, then it'll be a mass as Amul said.

I don't support your idea. Only 5 clans in a server? I don't think so. We need to have a lot of clans but, if they want base they should apply for it. if they create clan, they'll need to have a special requirements to apply/become an Offcial group.

m not gonna make base for everyone who applies  >_>
u want whole map full of bases and over 15-20 mb map downloads ..seriously?

IT WILL SURELY LAG SERVER and downloading 15 mb, every time they join is kinda annoying

except that my suggestion is modify BS base with no vehicles and making it more modified or u can say enjoyable ._. .
a common base with divided parts for every clan? and clan members will spawn at their own part on divided bases..u can try capturing bases, deathmatch with clans and other stuff

Lol you won't make a base for every one, they'll have to apply for it. If they get accpetd you start making for them. You can also deny there base. They should have requirements for a base. For example they'll need at least 10 memebrs, good English skills, etc...

m gonna divide parts in modified BS base..every clan accepted on forum gets their own part there.. fight for it then

sounds fine to me..theres another base with the ship close to SF airport. it can be divide too..the ship can be another base for another clan..and maybe the ship can be move to other place too so it would be not so close to each other.

If every body fights for a base, let's say nR7 applied for a base, they got accepted, they go " nR7 " to there base for meetings , trainings , etc.. Let's say there were " nR7 " two only that they're online. while nR7 with there " base " a 5 WARRAIORS attack them. ofc 2 vs semi-pro clan. They'll take it witch is unfair beacuse they didn't even applied for it.'

To solve this idea , make special numbers in the door for good example army bass " 51 "

I think dats not a bad idea actually...I wonder how to enter Text in Server map saying dat it is belongs to a certain clan.

But anyway captain..ur 'nr7' clan is not an official clan yet in sever ok?
